Infused Gameday Snacks: A MÜV Menu Guide for the Long Afternoon

By MÜV Team September 30, 2026

A game runs three hours, and the afternoon around it usually runs longer. If you're a Florida patient planning to be out for most of that, the best edibles for the day are the ones you can time, which means knowing how they're dosed and how long they'll stay with you. Here's what MÜV carries, how each format doses, and how to think about timing before you head out.

What You'll Learn

  • Why edibles fit a long afternoon
  • The MÜV edible formats and how each one doses
  • Reading milligrams on a Florida label
  • Timing your dose around the day
  • Heat, storage, and being out of the house
  • What to ask a Cannabis Advisor before you go

Why Edibles Fit a Long Afternoon

Edibles are legal in Florida for qualified patients, sold through licensed dispensaries and third-party lab tested, with cannabinoid content printed on every package. For a day out, they have three practical advantages: they're pre-measured, they need no equipment, and one dose covers a long window.

The tradeoff is that you're committing early. Edibles come on slowly compared to inhaled cannabis and stay with you considerably longer once they do, so you're deciding hours before you know how it landed.

That's not a reason to skip them. It's the reason to plan the dose instead of improvising it.

The MÜV Edible Lineup

Florida limits edibles to 10 mg of THC per piece, so the real difference between formats is not how strong they are but how easily you can dose below that ceiling.

MÜV Soft Chews

The core line and the most familiar format. Each piece is a fixed dose, which makes soft chews the easiest thing to plan around. Available in THC-only and in THC/CBD ratio formulations if you want CBD alongside.

Bits Microdose Soft Chews

Built specifically for low dosing, in THC, CBD, and CBN formulations. If you want to stay well under 10 mg across a long afternoon, or you're newer to edibles, Bits are the most straightforward way to do it without cutting anything.

MÜV Chocolates

Milk and dark, dosed at 10 mg per piece and scored so a piece breaks into two 5 mg sections. That makes chocolates one of the few formats where you can halve a dose cleanly. Sugar-Free Chocolates are available if sugar is a consideration, and RSO Chocolates offer a different cannabinoid profile.

MÜV Cannabis Caramels

Classic Caramel, Sea Salt Caramel, and Caramel Apple, at 10 mg per piece. Worth knowing that the caramel format does not break into smaller pieces cleanly, so if 10 mg is more than you want, chocolates or Bits are the better pick.

MÜV Lozenges

Fruit lozenges that dissolve rather than being chewed, available at 10 mg THC or as a 1:1 with 5 mg THC and 5 mg CBD. Because they dissolve in your mouth, absorption works differently than with something you swallow. Ask a Cannabis Advisor how the timing compares before you rely on it.

MÜV Meltaways

Cannabis mints, and a common recommendation for patients with a lower THC tolerance. Discreet and easy to carry.

Encore, (the) Essence, and OTR

Three specialty soft chew lines. Encore covers RSO and CBN formulations. (the) Essence Nectar Soft Chews are strain-specific and made with cured resin, so the terpene profile is part of the point. OTR Live Rosin Soft Chews are solventless. If you already know which terpenes or cannabinoids suit you, these are where that choice lives.

Reading the Label

Three numbers matter before you take anything:

  • THC per piece or per section. This is your actual dose.
  • Total THC in the package. Useful for tracking against your allotment.
  • Other cannabinoids. A 1:1 THC/CBD product behaves differently from a THC-only product at the same milligram count, and CBN formulations differ again.

Timing Your Dose Around the Day

Work backward. If you know when you need relief, count back from that point rather than dosing the moment you arrive. Note the time you take something, and wait well past when you'd expect anything before considering more. Almost every difficult edible situation traces back to re-dosing during the wait.

Food is a factor too. Some patients report that taking an edible with a meal changes both how quickly it comes on and how it feels, which matters on a day built around eating.

If a full 10 mg piece is more than you want to commit to for an afternoon, this is where Bits or a halved chocolate section earn their place.

Heat, Storage, and Being Out

Florida heat is the practical problem. Chocolates and caramels will soften or melt in a car or direct sun, and a melted piece makes the 5 mg scoring on a chocolate unreliable. Keep anything you bring in an insulated bag, and never leave product in a parked car. Caramels keep for about 12 months stored cool and dry, with the expiration date printed on the label.

Lozenges and Meltaways hold up better in heat than chocolate does, which is worth weighing if you'll be outside for hours.

Keep products in their original packaging. The label identifies the contents and the dose, and it's also what identifies the product as legally purchased from a licensed dispensary. Your medical cannabis is dispensed to you specifically, so it stays with you.

What to Ask a Cannabis Advisor

Worth raising on your visit:

  • How onset on lozenges or Meltaways compares to soft chews
  • Whether a Bits formulation fits better than halving a 10 mg piece
  • Whether a CBD or CBN ratio suits what you're managing
  • How any of it fits alongside the rest of your treatment plan
